  • Pizza Dough (store-bought or homemade, room temperature)
  • 1 cup (240g) Ricotta Cheese (full-fat recommended)
  • 1 clove Garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup (100g) Shredded Mozzarella
  • 1/4 cup (25g) Parmesan Cheese (freshly grated)
  • Olive Oil (for brushing)
  • 23 tablespoons (30-45ml) Hot Honey
  • Red Pepper Flakes (to taste)
  • Fresh Basil Leaves (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 500°F (260°C) and place your pizza stone or baking sheet inside to preheat.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, minced garlic, and a pinch of salt. Mix until smooth and set aside.
  3. On a floured surface, roll out your pizza dough into a 12-inch circle.
  4. Carefully transfer the dough to your preheated pizza stone or baking sheet.
  5. Brush the surface of the dough lightly with olive oil.
  6. Spread the ricotta mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan on top.
  7. Bake the pizza for 8-10 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  8. Remove the pizza from the oven and drizzle hot honey over the top.
  9. Sprinkle a pinch of red pepper flakes and garnish with fresh basil leaves.
