Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ cups (135g) old-fashioned oats
  • ½ cup (120g) peanut butter
  • ⅓ cup (80ml) honey
  • ¼ cup (30g) ground flaxseed
  • ⅓ cup (60g) mini chocolate chips
  • ⅓ cup (60g) M&Ms
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, add 1 ½ cups (135g) old-fashioned oats, ¼ cup (30g) ground flaxseed, and a pinch of salt. Stir to combine.
  2. Stir in ½ cup (120g) peanut butter, ⅓ cup (80ml) honey, and 1 tsp vanilla extract until the mixture starts to come together.
  3. Fold in ⅓ cup (60g) mini chocolate chips and ⅓ cup (60g) M&Ms. Make sure they’re evenly distributed.
  4. Scoop about 1 tablespoon of the mixture and roll it between your palms to form a ball. Repeat for the rest of the mixture.
  5. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with wax paper. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to help them firm up.

Notes

[‘Use room temperature peanut butter for easier mixing.’, ‘If the mixture feels sticky, chill it for 10 minutes before rolling.’, ‘Taste the mixture before rolling and adjust sweetness with more honey if desired.’, ‘Customize the recipe by swapping M&Ms for dried fruit, chopped nuts, or coconut flakes.’]
