Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Wooden or metal skewers (soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before grilling)

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces, approximately 1-inch cubes.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to make the marinade.
  3. Add the chicken pieces to the bowl and toss until evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat, around 375°F (190°C).
  5. Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto the soaked wooden skewers or metal skewers.
  6. Roll each skewer in grated parmesan cheese to coat the chicken thoroughly.
  7. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 5-7 minutes per side, or until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown.
  8. Check the internal temperature of the chicken to ensure it reaches 165°F (74°C).
  9. Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for 2-3 minutes before serving.

Notes

Soak wooden skewers to prevent burning. Use fresh garlic for maximum flavor. Brush grill grates with oil to prevent sticking.
