A quick and simple homemade turkey Lunchable with crackers and cheese cubes, perfect for busy days and kids’ snacks. Ready in under 10 minutes with customizable ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ounces (115 grams) thinly sliced deli turkey breast
  • 1 cup (115 grams) cheese cubes (sharp cheddar, Colby Jack, mozzarella, or pepper jack)
  • 15 to 20 whole grain or multigrain crackers
  • Optional extras: pickle slices or baby dill pickles
  • Optional extras: fresh fruit like grapes or apple slices
  • Optional extras: mustard or hummus for dipping

Instructions

  1. Gather your ingredients: Measure out about 4 ounces (115 grams) of turkey slices, 1 cup (115 grams) of cheese cubes, and 15 to 20 crackers.
  2. If your cheese isn’t already cubed, use a sharp knife to cut it into bite-sized pieces, roughly 1/2-inch (1.3 cm) cubes.
  3. Lay the turkey slices flat on your plate or in your lunch container. Fold or roll them for easier grabbing and better presentation.
  4. Place your crackers beside the turkey, avoiding stacking them too tightly to prevent breakage.
  5. Place the cheese cubes next to the crackers. If using extras like pickle slices or fruit, arrange them thoughtfully on the plate.
  6. Optionally, add a small ramekin of mustard, hummus, or your preferred dip to the plate.
  7. Pack or serve immediately. If preparing ahead, cover tightly and store in the fridge for up to 24 hours. Add crackers just before eating to keep them crunchy.

Notes

Keep crackers separate until just before eating to maintain crunch. Cube cheese just before serving for freshness. Fold turkey slices to keep moist and easy to eat. Customize with different cheeses, crackers, or add fresh fruit and dips as desired.
