  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Lightly flour your work surface and roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle about 12×16 inches (30×40 cm).
  3. Spread the pepperoni slices evenly over the dough, leaving a small border. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese generously on top.
  4. Starting from one long edge, roll the dough tightly like a jelly roll. Pinch the seam to seal.
  5. Using a knife or pizza cutter, slice the roll into 12 even pieces.
  6. Arrange the rolls cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them evenly.
  7. Beat one egg with a splash of water and brush it over the tops of each roll.
  8. Mix melted butter with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and a pinch of salt. Brush over the rolls. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese for extra flavor.
