  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted (about 57 grams)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced fresh

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (dried basil, oregano, thyme blend)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels. Season both sides well with kosher salt and cracked black pepper.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, Italian seasoning, and paprika until combined.
  4. Heat a cast iron or oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Place the chicken thighs skin-side down in the hot skillet without overcrowding. Sear for 5-7 minutes without moving them until the skin is golden and crispy.
  6. Flip the chicken thighs carefully using tongs.
  7. Brush the skin side generously with the garlic butter mixture, then sprinkle the grated Parmesan evenly over the butter-coated skin.
