Golden, crunchy chicken topped with a creamy, sweet, and spicy bang bang sauce, nestled between soft slider buns—perfect for game day or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds chicken breasts, cut into small slider-sized pieces
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 12 slider buns
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • Sliced pickles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken breasts into small, slider-sized pieces. Pat dry and set aside.
  2. Set up breading stations: In one bowl, mix flour with garlic powder, paprika, and salt. In another bowl, beat the eggs. In a third bowl, pour the panko breadcrumbs.
  3. Dip each piece of chicken into the flour mixture, then the egg, and finally coat it evenly in the panko breadcrumbs. Press gently to ensure the breadcrumbs stick.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a large frying pan or deep fryer to 350°F (175°C). Test by dropping a small breadcrumb—it should sizzle immediately.
  5. Add breaded chicken pieces to the hot oil in batches. Fry for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Remove chicken using tongs and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
  7. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and honey until smooth.
  8. Spread a generous layer of bang bang sauce on the bottom half of the slider buns. Add a piece of crispy chicken, a handful of shredded lettuce, and optional pickles. Top with the other half of the bun.
  9. Arrange the sliders on a platter and serve immediately. Enjoy!
