Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken (about 300g), preferably rotisserie
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened (full-fat)
  • ½ cup buffalo hot sauce (about 4 fl oz / 120ml), e.g., Frank’s RedHot
  • ¼ cup ranch dressing (2 fl oz / 60ml), keto-friendly or homemade
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese (about 100g)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped green onions or chives for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, mix the softened cream cheese and ranch dressing until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add the buffalo hot sauce to the cream cheese mixture and stir well to combine until bright orange.
  4. Fold in the shredded chicken, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper, ensuring the chicken is evenly coated.
  5. Transfer the mixture to an 8×8-inch (20×20 cm) baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
  7. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
  8. Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes to thicken.
  9. Garnish with chopped green onions or chives if desired. Serve warm with low-carb dippers like celery sticks, cucumber slices, or pork rinds.
