  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce (Frank’s RedHot recommended)
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • Optional: chopped green onions for garnish
  • Tortilla chips, celery sticks, or crackers for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease an 8×8-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Stir in the sour cream and ranch dressing until well combined.
  3. Mix in the hot sauce, adjusting to your preferred spice level. Start with 1/2 cup and taste before adding more.
  4. Fold in the shredded chicken until evenly coated in the creamy mixture.
  5. Stir in half the shredded cheddar cheese, saving the rest for topping.
  6. Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
  8. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown.
