  • 2 cups shredded chicken (cooked)
  • 1 cup diced mild banana peppers
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Fresh parsley or sliced green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth and well-blended.
  3. Add the shredded chicken and diced banana peppers to the cream cheese mixture. Mix thoroughly to combine.
  4. Fold in half of the cheddar cheese and half of the mozzarella cheese.
  5. Transfer the mixture to your prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar and mozzarella cheese on top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges are golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley or green onions if desired.
