A warm, pull-apart monkey bread coated in a buttery caramel glaze and cinnamon sugar, perfect for holidays or cozy mornings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cans (16.3 oz each) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (for glaze)
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar (for glaze)
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease your bundt pan generously with butter or non-stick spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the granulated sugar and cinnamon. Stir until well blended.
  3. Open the cans of biscuit dough and cut each biscuit into quarters. Roll the pieces lightly into balls.
  4. Toss the dough balls in the cinnamon sugar mixture until fully coated.
  5. Place the coated dough balls into the prepared pan, spreading them out evenly.
  6. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the brown sugar, heavy cream, vanilla, and salt. Cook until smooth and bubbly, about 2-3 minutes.
  7. Pour the caramel glaze evenly over the dough balls in the pan.
  8. Place the bundt pan in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and cooked through.
  9. Let the monkey bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before carefully inverting onto a serving plate.
  10. Pull apart pieces and savor the gooey caramel goodness!

Notes

Grease the pan thoroughly to prevent sticking. Use room temperature ingredients for even baking. Let the bread cool slightly before inverting to ensure the glaze sets properly.
