The buttery layers of a croissant meet the sweet, fruity charm of peach pie in this irresistible peach pie cruffin recipe. Perfect for brunch, holidays, or a sweet treat, these cruffins are flaky, golden, and bursting with tender peaches and cinnamon.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 sheets store-bought puff pastry, defrosted
  • 2 cups fresh peaches, peeled, pitted, and diced
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the peach filling: In a small saucepan, combine the diced peaches, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and flour. Cook over medium heat for 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently, until the mixture thickens. Remove from heat and let it cool completely.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry: On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry sheets into rectangles, about 12×10 inches each. Brush with melted butter for added richness.
  3. Add the filling: Spread the cooled peach filling evenly over the pastry, leaving a small border around the edges.
  4. Cut and roll: Using a sharp knife or pizza cutter, slice the pastry into long strips (about 2 inches wide). Roll each strip into a tight spiral and place it into a greased muffin tin, cut side up.
  5. Bake: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the cruffins for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and flaky.
  6. Cool and dust: Let the cruffins cool slightly before dusting them with powdered sugar for a finishing touch.

Notes

Work quickly with the puff pastry to keep it cold. Avoid overfilling to prevent soggy cruffins. Grease your muffin tin well for easy release.
